Well I'm off to the country for a week then, and Kevin Ayers always hits the spot when stretching out in the Cotswold's green and spacey acres.
Kevin Ayers - 'Cold Shoulder'
'Cold Shoulder' is taken from his 2007 album 'Unfairground' - which is a holiday perma-play and just as full and fruity as any of Kev's vintage lazy summer shufflers like 'Shouting In A Bucket Blues', Stranger In Blue Suede Shoes' and...

Haven't heard much by Kevin Ayers before, but these are really nice. In a way, the timbre of his voice reminds of the much less relaxing Serge Gainsbourg.
Have a nice, chilled holiday. Take care to avoid Alex James.
He's well worth checking out, although can be a bit hit and miss. I think there's a new Kev comp', which probably has all you need.
For early tunes -
'Shouting In A Bucket Blues', Stranger In Blue Suede Shoes' 'Singing A Song In The Morning' - are all gems, and his 74live album with John Cale, Nico and Eno is worth grabbing.
'Unfairground' is a joy from start to finish.
I don't mind ol' Jamesy - It's Clarkson I'm worried about bumping into-he's out in the Cotswolds too.
