It's Friday. Let's R.O.C.K

EODM - Almost everything you want from a Rock Band: a gallery of tattoos, quality vintage kit and the sort of heavy-level riffing that could flatten tanks..

Not many bands can crack the rock-o-nundrum of making squealy synths and screaming guitars work together. Electric Six can.

I've never heard of them before. I don't listen to as much rock today as I once did.

Me neither Keith. I was a proper metal-head at one time - but the Eagles and Electric's are well worth a wallop...

Saw EODM at the Leeds Festival in 2007. Jesse Hughes is a real showman, an amusing 45 minutes was had by all. I got some cracking photos too from my barrier-side position.

p.s. They're back at Leeds / Reading this year.

Did you know that EODM are big Rat Scabies fans and at their gig last month he came on for the encore and played New Rose with them. Epicly fantastic or what?! They are playing again in June/July in London - I am so there.

ROMO - Funnily enough I alway thought there was a touch of Rat Scabies about Josh Homme thanks for the top tip I'll have to get on that - I first picked up on them from one of your podcasts you know.

No stage diving allowed though Paddy
